  • TSA
    Security Tips

    Transportation Security Administration (TSA)

The TSA is responsible for passenger screening at the security checkpoints at Orlando International Airport.

Knowing the process and the requirements can help expedite your passage through the security screening. The TSA web site provides useful information, including:

You may also want to consider applying for one of the expedited screening programs, TSA PreCheck, Global Entry (which also provides TSA PreCheck benefits) or CLEAR.

  • Global Entry
    Global Entry

    Global Entry

Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Though intended for frequent international travelers, there is no minimum number of trips necessary to qualify for the program.

Participants may enter the United States by using automated kiosks located at select airports. All Global Entry members are also eligible to participate in TSA Pre✓®.

The Global Entry Enrollment Center is located on the B-side of the terminal, on Level 3, near the Food Court. Applications and interview scheduling must be done on the Global Entry web site.

  • Mobile Passport Control
    Mobile Passport Control App

CBP’s Mobile Passport Control (MPC), is the first authorized app to expedite a traveler's entry process into the United States. Eligible travelers submit their passport information and customs declaration form to CBP via a smartphone or tablet prior to arrival.

    • Download the Mobile Passport Control App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store prior to arriving
    • Create a profile with your passport information
    • Complete the “New Trip” section upon arrival in the United States
    • Submit your CBP Declaration form through the app to receive an electronic receipt with an Encrypted Quick Response (QR) code
    • Bring your passport and smartphone or tablet with your digital bar-coded receipt to a CBP officer
  • TSA PreCheck
    TSA Precheck

    TSA Pre✓® Trusted Traveler Program

TSA PreCheck allows low-risk travelers to experience expedited security screening when traveling on participating airlines at participating U.S. airports. This provides quicker transit through airport security screening without having to remove belts, shoes, light outerwear or 3-1-1 compliant bags and laptops from carry-on baggage.

Check whether the TSA Pre✓® lanes will be open when you’re flying at TSA Pre✓ ® Checkpoint Schedule.

The TSA Pre✓® Enrollment Center is located on the A-side of the terminal, on Level 3, opposite SunTrust Bank. Walk-ins are accepted, but document requirements, pre-enrollment and appointments may all be found on the TSA Pre✓® web site.

  • Clear

    CLEAR Registered Traveler Program

CLEAR is a biometrics-based pre-clearance system that allows passengers to enter dedicated security checkpoint lanes at participating airports.

The CLEAR Enrollment Center is located at the East Security Checkpoint, in the Hotel Atrium, on Level 3 of the main terminal. Applicants may sign up on the CLEAR web site, or when they visit the Enrollment Center to complete their application.

Art Program

Art is an integral part of the overall design of the Orlando International Airport

Space, Time, Energy

These selected pieces reflect highlights of the airport's permanent Art Collection. The Collection is comprised of works reflecting a variety of styles and media. The Art connects the broad architectural spaces, light filled areas, and green foliage to create a unique impression of Florida's warmth, brightness and natural beauty. The Art also serves as a wayfinding element for the airport's passengers. The artists commissioned to create these works are of regional, national and international renown. The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority is solidly committed to a model program of Art in public places, with pieces distributed throughout the terminal complex.

For more information please contact the Public Affairs department.
